STEP 1
Design Direction
To create a solid foundation for your project, all clients begin with our Design Direction.
We’ll start with a kick-off call, questionnaire, and in person or virtual site visit to understand your budget, goals, non-negotiables, and vision for the space.
Then schematic design can begin!
In two weeks time, we’ll meet to review the completed deliverables together, which include:
Digital sample board(s) specifically selected for your unique project, needs & aesthetics
Floor plan(s) with generic sizes of key elements (eg: size of sofa, desk, quantity of tables and seats, etc.)
Black and white 3D view(s) to help you visualize the flow of the space
STEP 2
Design Development
In Step 2, we’ll continue to develop the selected design from Proper Design Direction and specify every last detail, finish and material while managing your budget.
You’ll walk away with exactly what you need to order from and specifications to hand off to your installer.
After completing the design process outlined above, you can choose to move into steps 3 & 4.
Proper Design Studio can offer complete white glove service or only provide just what you need.
Step 3 - Coordination
Step 3 is where we get organized and prepared before any delivery, install or construction starts. In this step, we’ll handle any ordering, bid out to contractors, collaborate with building management, architects, etc. This step ensures that install goes as smoothly as possible.
Step 4 - Install
Step 4 is where your approved design becomes a reality and we can be there through it all. From weekly site visits to being present for furniture deliveries to final styling - we can ensure everything comes together so it’s pretty as a picture.
